Obituary of Edward Koslow
Edward Koslow, 97, of Teaneck (formerly of Jersey City), passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. He was the beloved husband of 61 years of the late Jean (nee Burns). He is survived by his cherished children, Michele, Kathleen, and David and grandchildren Katherine and Deanna. Edward was the endeared uncle of Dolores, Diane, Mary Lynn, Carol, Deborah, Karen, and Karl and will be sadly missed by many great nieces and nephews and his bowling friends.
He was predeceased by his brothers the late William Koscuich and his wife Barbara, the late Eugene Koscuich and his late wife Barbara, and the late Leonard Koscuich and his late wife Janice.
Ed was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Helen (nee Fronczak) and the late John Koslow. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the United States Navy defending his country in World War II on a Destroyer. He worked for many years as an Inspector at the American Can Company in Jersey City and later was a drapery installer.
Ed was an avid bowler, a Giants fan, loved his cats, enjoyed metal detecting and watching Columbo and Judge Judy. He will be remembered for his love of family, being “Mr. Fixit” and for his witty jokes.
Visitation in Edward’s honor will be held on Sunday, October 13th beginning 2 PM and concluding at 6 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 15th, 11 AM, at the East Ridgelawn Chapel, Clifton (Please meet at the funeral home at 10 AM.) Cremation will be private.
