I’ve known Ed for over 60 years. We met on the CB radio when we were both living in Jersey City. Back then he was referred to as”Good Guy” and my handle was “Broken Toe”. Good Guy was an appropriate nickname for Ed because he was a great guy.
We keep in touch and enjoyed getting together. We would work on our CB radios and at least one of his many Metal Detectors. I remember he got David into repairing amplifiers and computers and cars.
When we moved to Whippany Ed helped me build our first deck. He would often talk about bowling and mention Jean. One time he said that he was sure Jean was watching over him. Little things that would happen would make him feel her presence, like seeing her favorite flower growing in an isolated place in the back yard.

I remember riding my bike around your house and using your mailbox as the toll. You gave me rocks to use as money. My childhood was better because you were in it. Love you endlessly.
