Connie was my fourth grade teacher. She was beautiful, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend time with. She began my life long love of history. Later in life, I was fortunate enough to have her daughter Sandy in our Girl Scout troup! Lucky me, I was able to renew my relationship with “Ms. Campbell”. Again, our lives intersected in the Saint Francis Players! I actually played Connie’s mother in Barnum and her Mother Superior in Nunsense! One more time she would mentor me when I began to volunteer in the library ESL program. She was brilliant in the field and was so willing to share her skills. I am so sad that I was away last week and did not share my love and gratitude for Connie with her family.

I worked with Connie and her husband in CCD and my son and Connie were instumentel in me joining the choir. We always had a good time what ever we did. I remember we had a birthday party for her husband at the heritage diner and how happy he was. She had a wonderful singing voice and was a very good and selfless person.

Connie was the standard to follow as a member of Saint. Francis of Assisi Parish in. Ridgefield Park. Connie grew up ihere and attended Saint Fracis School. She went on to become a teacher at the school and a member of many groups. She had a beautiful voice and was a member of the choir. She was a reader, a Eucharistic Minister and taught CCD.. Connie was loved and will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. She will forever be remembered. Rest in God’s loving arms Connie.

I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Connie- she definitely gave the best gifts-as a child every birthday and Christmas I waited anxiously to see what she would send - knowing it would be a book - inscribed in the front cover with her love- the stories would start my love of reading - from Charlotte’s Web and The Secret Garden to Danielle Steele ! Every year when visiting we would go to NY and stand on TKTS line to get tickets to that nights broadway show- I loved going to her house and seeing her wall of family pictures!I loved listening to her sing- forever grateful to her beautiful Ave Maria at my wedding- Rest in eternal peace Aunt Connie- til we see you again
