Mary A. VanBergen, of Ridgefield Park, passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 70. Mary retired from Verizon after a career that included time living in Peabody, MA where she enjoyed the company of many Friends - winters not so much- before returning to her home in Ridgefield Park. Mary especially enjoyed time spent with Family and Friends throughout her life. She loved to entertain and was in charge of Family holiday celebrations and traditions. Her kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her. Mary is predeceased by her parents, John and Agnes VanBergen, Sister Jeanne VanBergen, and Nephew Peter Snead. Mary is survived by her loving Sisters, twin Anne Snead (Michael), Kathleen VanBergen (Joey Sperber), Grace Schwartz (Harrison), Nieces and Nephews; Kathleen Snead and her daughter, Sasha Penn, Salvatore Presutto (Jaime), and their children Ryan and Alyssa, Robin Schwartz and Julie Schwartz. The funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22nd at 10:30AM. The funeral mass will be 11AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9AM to 10:30AM. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Scleroderma Foundation in her memory.
