I am so sad to hear of Mary's passing. She was a wonderful, friendly, loving person. I will always be thankful for how she welcomed me as the new person at work and became my friend. God Bless all of you at this time and help you with the loss of this very special woman.

Very Saddened to hear this news. I remember Mary from the early NY Tel Directory days and through her career transition to NYNEX in Massachusetts. I admired her for her caustic wit and realized early on that Mary was not one to underestimate. Please accept my condolences during these trying times.

Dear Mary and Loving Family,
I would like to share a small act of kindness which Mary did for me, which had a ripple effect.
Many years ago, I grew up in RP and was hired as a teller and worked with a wonderful person, Anne Snead in a small trailer on Mount Vernon Street. At that time it was First National.
Anne became a great friend and mentor and she had a beautiful twin, Mary.
The Snead and VanBergens opened their home and hearts to us girls.
Mary managed to get me an interview with NYNEX and I ended up getting a position, also getting my BFF in shortly thereafter.
I can go on and on how this changed my life in such a positive way. Ever grateful.

My deepest condolences to all who loved Mary. I got to know her through her sister Anne (we worked together at the bank on Mt. Vernon St). I will always remember Mary's witty humor; and her ability to bring a smile to your face no matter your mood. Rest in peace Mary.❤

I will miss my beautiful friend. She had a heart of gold, loved her family and had a great/dry sense of humor. I will miss my long conversations and laughing over crazy things. Mary: Rest In Peace, my friend and someday we will laugh again. I love you and will never forget you. Peg Niblett
