Obituary of Francis X. Moles

Francis X. Moles (Frank), of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Frank was born in Teaneck and grew up with his eight siblings in Cresskill. He proudly served his country from 1956 through 1959 in the United States Navy and was a member of the Tin Can Sailors. Co-owner of Moles Bros. Garage in Bergenfield for many years. Retired truck driver for Knapp’s Express, Ridgefield Park and Island Transportation Corp., New York. Member and Senior Vice Commander of VFW Post 277, Ridgefield Park. Member of Elks Lodge 1506, Ridgefield Park. Avid NY Ranger and NY Met fan that once changed cable providers because they stopped broadcasting his favorite team. Son of the late Veronica (nee Meighan) and John Moles. Father of Mike Moles and his wife Martha, John Moles and his wife Linda, Robert Moles, and David Moles and his wife Cecilia. He also leaves behind his sister, Ann, his brother, Tom, and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Cremation is private. Military burial will be at sea.
