Obituary of Kim Gray

Kim Gray, aged 57, of Little Ferry, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving friends after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 14, 2024.  She was the beloved daughter of the late Rose (nee Savitsky) and the late Andrew Gray.  She was the sister of Nancy Gray Roem and her husband Timmy, Michael Gray, George Gray, and the late Lori Gray.  As a dedicated chef, Kim’s life was defined by her passion for cooking.  She worked for Nu Way Concessions for the Hudson County school system where she was in charge of the school lunch program making nutritious meals as a priority for the students.  Kim was cherished by the many children at the school, and the teachers she worked with truly appreciated her.  Her kitchen was a place of joy and creativity, where she shared her love for food with everyone around her.  Kim had a vibrant personality and was always encircled by friends.  Her best friends Anthony and Lisa Cifelli shared countless moments of laughter and joy with her.  Kim was a compassionate individual with a fierce personality, but was always present in times of need offering unwavering support.  Her warmth and generosity touched everyone she met.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Visitation in Kim’s honor will be held on Thursday, December 19th beginning at 4 PM and concluding with a Catholic Blessing at 8 PM.  Cremation will be private.
