Obituary of Francisco Herrera

Francisco Herrera, age 78, of Bogota, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of the late Corinta (nee Martinez, devoted father to Luisa and her husband Julio, Francisco and his wife Dalis, and Claudia and her husband Saso, and cherished grandfather to Rachel, Leonardo, Daniela, and Abraham.  Francisco was the endeared brother to late Ricardo, late Fernando, late Baudilio, Jose, late Luis, Gloria, Consuelo, and Maria. 

Francisco was born San Pedro Sula, Honduras to the late Luisa (nee Altamirano) and the late Baudilio Herrera.  He immigrated to the United States in 1980’s seeking new opportunities and a brighter future.  Francisco began his career as a Printing Press Operator at Hoffman Company, where he dedicated many years of hard work and commitment before retiring.  He found joy in visiting museums, immersing himself in books, and expressing his creativity through various artistic pursuits.  However, the greatest joy in his life was spending time with his family.  Francisco’s legacy lives on in the memories of friends and family who cherish the impact he made.

A Visitation in Francisco’s honor will be held on Tuesday, October 29^th beginning at 6 PM and concluding with a service at 8 PM.  Cremation will be private.
