Obituary of Roberta Stalknecht

Roberta Stalknecht (née LaCarrubba), of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the age of 81. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Francis RC Church.
 

Born on November 29, 1942, Roberta worked diligently in the accounts payable department at UPS for many years. She was a beloved wife to the late Peter Stalknecht and a loving mother to Peter Stalknecht Jr. and Beth Schmidt. Roberta was also a cherished sister to Patricia LaCarrubba.

Roberta found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her five grandchildren: Hillary, Amelia, Olivia, Jason, and Natalie, and was further blessed with two great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Evelyn.In her leisure time, Roberta took great pride in nurturing her beautiful garden, especially her beloved hydrangeas, and enjoyed peaceful moments on the porch with her husband. She also cherished shopping outings with her sister, creating precious
memories and abundant amounts of laughter.

Roberta will be deeply missed, but her loving spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.

A Funeral Mass in Roberta's honor will be held on Thursday, October 24th, at St. Francis R.C. Church, begining at 11 AM.  Cremation Private.  (All visitors please meet directly at church)
