Obituary of Virginia C Lutz

Virginia C. Lutz, Virgie 98 of Ridgefield Park, NJ, passed away on October 9, 2024, in Rockleigh, NJ.  Virginia was born in North Bergen, NJ, to Dominick LaRose and Rose LaRose (nee Feliciti), on October 23, 1926.  She went to Holy Angels Academy and graduated in 1943.  She worked as a Model/Salesgirl at Murray’s, in West New York for a number of years.  After raising a family, she worked as a Saleswoman/Manager at the Four Poster in Paramus, NJ.  She served as PTA President at Roosevelt School in Ridgefield Park and Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.  Virginia is survived by her daughter, Peggy Knapp, her son, Richard C. Lutz, granddaughters Allison Prescott (David), Kimberly Lutz, great grandchildren Richard D. Lutz, Jake R. Lutz, Pamela E. Prescott, and Steven R. Prescott. Virginia is predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Lutz, daughters Dale E. Lutz and Janemarty E. Lutz, grandson Richard J. Lutz and daughter in law Pamela E. Lutz, and son in law Rusty Knapp. 

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.  The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Jewish Home Family for their care of Virginia.  Services will be private.
