Obituary of Daniel Hawley

Daniel Hawley, 67, of Ridgefield Park passed away peacefully on July 26,2024.  Dan was born in Teaneck on May 8, 1957 and attended St Francis Elementary School, Xavier High School and Pace University.  

 

Dan spent his career working for various liquor importers as Global Logistics Director.  He worked for 20 years for Diageo, Winebow and various smaller liquor importers. 

 

Dan was predeceased by his father, Edward Hawley and his mother, Audrey Hawley (nee Salvesen).  He is survived by his wife Mary, sons Christopher and Brian (Savanna) and Savanna's son Elija and his brother Stephen Hawley (Jeannie).  Mary and Dan recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.  

 

Dan was a devoted father.  He enjoyed coaching and watching his kids play sports and all their extracurricular activities.  Dan loved spending time with his family and many long-time friends.   He was an avid NY Giants fan.  

 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30 from 4-8 pm at Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St. Francis Church on Wednesday, July 31 with burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park.
