Carlos Marmol, of North Bergen, sadly passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the age of 36.  He was the beloved husband of seven years to the love of his life Jaimie (nee Mergel) Marmol.  The greatest joy in his life was being a father to his little girl Melody.  He was the endeared brother to Samantha, Carlenis, and Hanna.

Carlos was born in New York, NY to Ana (nee Fernandez) and Carlos Marmol.  He developed a wide range of skills through hands on experience as a skillful Laborer working as an independent contractor.  In the fall of 2016, the happy couple married settling in North Bergen eagerly waiting to start a family.  His greatest role in life was being a proud and doting father to his “beautiful baby girl” Melody.  The pair were inseparable, and loved spending time together whether it was a walk to the park, playing games or reading a book before bed.  Carlos had many interests he was an avid gamer and a comic book enthusiast.  Some of his favorites included Ninja Turtles, Ghost Busters, Anime, and Manga.  Carlos may have had a serious demeanor very shy and quiet however once you got to know him, he wore his heart on his sleeve.  He had a great sense of humor and deeply loved those around him.  He will be sadly missed by his family and many dear friends.

A visitation in Carlos’s honor will be held on Wednesday, July 31st beginning at 4 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M.  Cremation will be private.
