Obituary of Patricia Marie Black

Patricia Marie Black, 64, of Manhattan, NY, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2024.  Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Walter Jones.  She was the endeared sister to Mary Jean Scerra and her husband Thomas, Eddie and his wife Diana, Susan, Catherine Jacob and her husband Lou, Billy and his wife Gabriella, Regina, and Kathy Griffin, and brother-in-law Thomas Jones and his wife Nancy.  Patricia is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. 

Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Jane (nee Tompkins) and Edward Black.  She worked as a Professional Grant Wrighter at Memorial Sloan Kettering for many years proudly funding the many organizations devoted to helping people.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of life in Patricia’s honor will be held on Friday, April 26^th beginning at 11 A.M. and concluding at 1 P.M.
