My condolences to the Lax family. Mr. Lax, as I called him, was just a good guy. He always made me laugh. Knowing him was a privilege and an honor. I enjoyed his company and I know my father considered him a great friend.

I will always remember how excited he was when he opened the black cowboy boots we got him. From the first day I met him we had an instant connection, horses! Every chance we got we talked about them and the love he had for horses. He told me once how one day he would have black cowboy boots so we made it happen.
