I was lucky to have worked at Prudent with Donna for many years. We didn't work in the same department, but connected all the same. Donna was a warm, wonderful and kind person who truly enjoyed people. She always looked out for the employees and new Seasonal hires that came on board. I enjoyed our many conversations in the Prudent kitchen or halls. A truly lovely person who will not be forgotten. Prayers to the Bassano Family for your loss.

Donna was such a wonderful person. She and I joined Prudent at the same time and it was an honor for me to be friends with her for more than 20 years. Such a talented artist and perfectionist. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

I don't know a single person who didn't love Donna. For myself, I loved her dearly. She was a personal cheerleader, an endless source of encouragement and advice personally, and for my artwork, which she championed, and one of the many "2nd Moms" I have been blessed with over the years. I treasure that Donna was someone whom I was able to crack up to the point we both got in trouble many times. She affecionately referred to me as "My Joey" for many years, and I could not be more proud or happy to have been so called.
Donna was not just a member of the Art Department at the vard company, she was the Art Department. No one knew more about very aspect of the job, from typesetting, to logos, to dealing with vendors, than she did. And, before computers were fully the norm in our work, cutting out and placing signatures by hand onto a card. I will always remember the hours she spent repairing printing plates with an x-acto knife, staring through her giant lighted magnifying glass on an arm. I took full advatage of turning that magnifier around so it would make my eye look a foot wide, to make her laugh.
She was den Mother to countless members of the department, and always took every one of us under her wing.
She turned the department into The Wizard of Oz, yellow brick road and all, including wearing a costume as Dorothy, for Halloween, and decorated beautifully for Christmas and all the other holidays. And in an age of casual business dress, Donna never failed to show up for work attired professionally, always an example of class.
I marveled at her own own artwork. She could work in so many mediums and genres. She was a natural talent. And her passion for it was matched only by her enjoyment for it.
But, most of all, she loved her family, and absolutely adored her Grandchildren. There was not a day when she didn't talk about them and share stories.
"My Donna," you will be missed. I love you. And you will be remembered by all those who knew you. My deepest condolences to Ron, Matthew and Carissa, and all of the Bassano family. I will be sending good thoughts to you, and praying for you. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
