Obituary of Frances Brintz
Frances Brintz (Festa) 99, of Ridgefield Park, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 10th.A celebration of life mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 14th, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. Friends may call at Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home (59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ) on Monday, November 13, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, November 14 at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis Food Pantry.
Frances was born in Hoboken in 1924 to loving parents, Rafaella and Philip Festa, of Gravina di Puglia, Italy. She grew up with a love of God, family and music. In her younger years, she could be seen on the stage at Joseph F Brandt Jr High singing and dancing often to the tunes of her favorite band leader, Glenn Miller. On weekends, she enjoyed dancing in NYC with her best friend, Josie Harden. It was through her friend, on a blind date, that she met the love of her life, Albert J Brintz whom she married in 1949.
Over the years, Frances was an avid volunteer in her community, church and Paramus Veterans Home. She was an officer in the Roosevelt School PTA. She volunteered at St Francis School Kindergarten for many years. She enjoyed community theater as a member of the St. Francis Players in the 70s and 80s. She was also a member of the St Francis choir and a longtime volunteer at the St. Francis feast.
She is survived by the joys of her life, her children, Robert and Cathy Brintz; Barbara and Bill Lyons, Marybeth and Marc Costello; grandchildren, Jason and Heather Lyons, Jessica and Rich Sullo, Daniel, and Kyle Brintz, Dana Brintz, Gary and Lauren Brintz, Jillian Lyons and Shaun DeBari; great-grandchildren, Billy, Gianna, Nico, Alex, Izzy, Tessa, Charlie and Brian; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving caretaker, Lue, Patsy, and Comfort. She is predeceased by the love of her life Albert Brintz, her grandson, Brian and her loving siblings Roger Dominick Michael, Joseph , Louise, Marge, Anne and Rae.

Frances was known for her love of family and music. The melody of her spirit will live in our hearts forever.
