Anna M. Calabrese (nee Perrone), 93, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.  Anna was the beloved wife of 12 years to the late John Calabrese.  She was the devoted mother of Lorena and her husband the late Louis Romano, Donna Grobel and her husband Jim, and the late John Calabrese and his wife Janice.  The greatest joy in her life were her cherished grandchildren Louis and his husband DJ, John, Nicholas, and Jamie.  She is survived by her endeared siblings Frances Stange and her husband John, Danny Perrone and his wife Marianne, and Helen Perrone, and predeceased by Charlie, Tony, Red, Sal, Cosma, Irene, Mary, Vinny, and Daniel. 

Anna was born in Brooklyn, NY to Frances (nee Tarduogno) and Vincent Perrone.  She worked as an Accountant at Bank of New York for many years before her retirement.  Family was everything to Anna.  She dedicated her whole life to loving her entire family.  Anna was a faithful parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church and was an active member of the New Jersey Chorale Choir.  She enjoyed Cooking for her family and sewing.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29th beginning at 9AM. And concluding at 11 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis R.C. Church at 11:30 A.M.  Anna will be laid to rest at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Anna’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
