Obituary of Dolores Tomarchio

Dolores Tomarchio passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2023 at the age of 86.  She is survived by an endeared sister Josephine Milstone and a cherished nephew Stuart his wife Allyson and great nephews Aiden and Connor.  Dolores was born in New York, NY to Marianna (nee Ragonese) and Mario Tomarchio.  After graduating high school Dolores decided to peruse a career in publishing and worked at The Bergen Record for many years before retiring.  She was passionate about books and storytelling and was a perfect fit for such a creative and exciting industry.   Dolores was a wonderful sister and friend.  She was a proud member of the Ridgefield Park Elks #1506 and loved helping and participating in pasta dinners and tricky trays.  Dolores loved to invest in her community and improve quality of life for their members.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Dolores’s life will be held on Monday, July 31^st beginning at 4 PM and concluding at 8 PM.  Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 1st, 10 AM, St. Joseph R.C. Church, Bogota.  Cremation will be private.  Remembrances may be made in Dolore's name to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org>donate
