Obituary of Gloria Marie Callahan

Gloria Callahan (nee Fischkelta), 96, died peacefully on June 8, 2023, a long time resident Ridgefield Park, NJ.  She was born in Hoboken, NJ.  In her late teens, her family moved to Ridgefield, NJ. After her marriage to Francis Alfred Callahan in 1954, they settled in Ridgefield Park, where she remained a resident for 69 years.  Beloved wife to the late Frank. Gloria is survived by her dear sister, Doris Olsen. Devoted mother to Judy Sloate and her husband Barry, Frank T. Callahan and Karen, Mary Kane and her husband John, Karen Hunter and her husband Ralph, Danny Callahan and his wife Debbie, Ann Lee and her husband Bobby and Eileen Meehan and her husband Michael and her late daughter, Gloria  Callahan Connors and her husband Tom. Loving grandmother to Shannon, Ryan, Kelly, Liam,  Tracy, Michael, John, Jillian, Joey, Olivia, Christopher, Brian, Shaun, Samantha, Katelyn, Jake, Elizabeth, Katherine and Joseph, Michael and 13 great grandchildren. She was a member of St Francis of Assisi Parish.  She led a long and wonderful life surrounded by family, leaving us with a great heritage.  Her passions were golf, dancing, weekly card games with friends, and cooking.
