Obituary of Lois J Heinrich
Lois J. (nee Henderson) Heinrich, 85, a life long resident of Ridgefield Park, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 15, 2023. She was the beloved wife of 30 years to the late Wilbert J. Heinrich. Lois was the devoted step mother of John and his wife Val, Robert and his wife Nancy, Carol Heinrich and her partner Andy McFarlane, and Eric and his wife Laurie. She was the cherished aunt of Susan Sabock, Ginger Gearhart and her husband Rob, Chuck Henderson and his wife Lana, and a host of many other nieces and nephews. The greatest joy in her life were her 11 step grandchildren and 21 step great grandchildren. She was the endeared sister of the late Clarence Henderson.
Lois was the loving daughter of Mabel (nee Gluesenkamp) and Clarence Henderson. She worked as an Executive Secretery for ITT legal division in New York and later at ITT Communications in Secaucus before retiring. Lois was a proud member of the Ridgefield Park Women’s Club and faithful member of the Neighborhood Reformed Church in Ridgefield Park. One of Lois’s favorite pasttimes was playing cards with friends and sharing their love for food. Family was everything to Lois. She always showed support and unconditional love. Her laughter was contagious and her catching smile will never be forgotten. Lois will be greatly missed for her kindness and compassion for family and friends as well as her sharp mind.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 beginning at 2 PM and concluding at 6 PM. An Evangelical Funeral Liturgy will commence on Monday, April 24, 2023,11:00AM at the Second Reformed Church Hackensack. Interment to follow at Hackensack Cemetery.
