Obituary of Margaret M Moran

Margaret M. (nee Connolly) Moran, 83, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully April 1, 2023 with her loving family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Joseph Moran.  Margaret was the devoted mother of Stephen Moran, Peter Moran (Cindy), Patrick Moran (Joan), and Sean Moran.  The greatest joy in her life were her cherished grandsons, Daniel Moran and James (Katie) Moran.  She is also survived by her endeared siblings Catherine Murphy and the late Lawrence Connolly. 

She was born to the late Margaret (nee Walsh) and Lawrence Connolly in Bronx, NY.  She worked as a Clerk for the Bergen County Board of Social Services.  Margaret proudly served as the president of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas in 1994.  She focused on placing a strong emphasis on the positive aspects of life and became a member of the Red Hat Society celebrating fun and friendship.  She was also a member alongside with her husband of the Bergen Irish Association.  Margaret was immensely proud of her family, and leaves nothing behind but beautiful memories.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 4^th, 4-8 PM at the Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 5^th, 9 AM, at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park.  She will be laid to rest at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee.
