Robert, me and several other neighborhood friends hung out almost every day over the summers months growning up in North Bergen. We built model cars at his place during the day and gathered around someones stoop at at night sometimes playing games or just talking about the lastest events or TV shows.
We attended the same parties and high school events.
Detailed memories are a little sketchy at this time but three events comes to mind:
1) I remenber he invited me and a few other friends to lunch near his dads place of work... best hot roast beef sandwich I've ever had to this day.
2) The night he broke his wrist. We were playing some game that involved running and he slipped on some loose gravel coming down hard on his hand.
3) The night he bought the "Blue Cloud" from me.
I was selling my car, an early 50's Pontiac hand me down from my father, and he and his dad came to my house to check it out.
RIP buddy and condolences to his immediate and extended family.

My Uncle Bobby was such an important person in my life. He has been there since the day I was born. Birthdays, holidays, vacations and any family gatherings we had Uncle Bobby was always happy and took any mishaps in his very calm way. I've never seen him angry. He always had great stories and seemed to know a little bit about everything. He loved his family more than anything. My Aunt Linda and him were best friends. Lori and Tod made him so proud. He loved their spouses and his grandchildren very much. I just want everyone to know that he was special and will never be out of my heart. I will miss you Uncle B.
Love Gina
