Obituary of Grace Cecilia Mc Cann

McCann, Grace C. of Ridgefield Park passed away on June 5, 2016 at the age of 92, after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. Born May 26, 1924 in Ridgefield Park to John Joseph and Bridget Agnes McCann. Grace was a graduate of St. Francis School, Ridgefield Park and St. Cecilia’s High School in Englewood. Grace retired from the New York Telephone Company after a successful career. Grace was an active parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Ridgefield Park, where she was a member of the Rosary Society a lector and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Grace was also past President of the Columbiettes for several years. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers: John, James, Joseph, Edmund, sisters; Kathleen McCann, Marie (Mortimer) Cronin and Agnes (John G.) Van Bergen. Grace is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, 10am from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street Ridgefield Park, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial 11am at St. Francis RC Church, Ridgefield Park. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visitation Thursday 3-7pm. Vorheesingwersen.com
