Obituary of Walter J. Grossmann

Grossmann, Walter J. age 80 of Palm Harbor, FL formerly of Ridgefield Park passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.  He retired as Police Chief in Ridgefield Park in 1999.  Walter was a member of the Bergen County Chiefs Association, Ridgefield Park PBA, Ridgefield Park Elks Club, Ridgefield Park Board of Education and a parishioner of St. Francis RC Church where he served as a eucharistic minister.  Beloved son of the late Claire (nee Mayer) and Walter J. Grossman. Dear brother to Joyce McClintock and the late Robert McClintock.  Loving uncle to Noreen Stevenson and her husband Dave, Claire Brennan and her husband Mike, Robert McClintock and his wife Regina, Karen Brando and her husband Domenick and Peter McClintock and his wife Fran.  He is also survived by many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.  The funeral service will be conducted at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park on Saturday, March 5th at 10am.  Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
