Obituary of Ida Ceraolo

Ida (nee Tango) Ceraolo, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the age of 104 years. She was born in Jersey City, daughter Pasquale and Philomena Tango. Prior to her retirement, she was an accomplished seamstress. Ida was a dedicated homemaker, Wife & Mother.  Longtime parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Ridgefield Park. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Ceraolo. Devoted mother of daughter Anne Ceraolo Sullivan and her husband Terrance and son Joseph Ceraolo and daughter in law Susan. Cherished grandmother of Taylor and her husband Christian Reinoehl, Joseph, and Andrea. Loving sister, Dorothy Scalabrini and sister-in-law Frances Tango.  Adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews.  With great appreciation to her caregiver, Rejoice Gbafa, who the family is indebted. Loving friends, Tara & John O’Grady and family.   The funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15th at 9AM. The funeral mass will be offered 9:30AM at St. Francis R.C. Church in Ridgefield Park. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4PM to 8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ida’s memory may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Food Pantry 114 Mount Vernon Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660.
