Obituary of Edward Thomas Ballard

Edward Thomas Ballard, of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 83 years. United States Marine Corp. Veteran from 1957 through 1962. Eddie worked for the Village of Ridgefield Park as a Code Enforcement Officer.  A member of the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina for 20 years. Boating was a way of life for Eddie.  Devoted husband of the late Janet A. (nee VanVorst) Ballard who passed away 2009. Beloved father of Terree Ballard Knapp of Brick, NJ and her boyfriend Lenny Laurino, and Janet Ballard Labella and her husband Mark Richardson of Latham, NY. Loving brother of Joseph Ballard of Punta Gorda, FL. Cremation is private. The memorial service will be at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Friday, September 17th from 3PM to 7PM with a funeral service at 6:30PM.
