Obituary of Saverio Parrotta

Saverio Parrotta, of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 85 years. Saverio was born in Locri, Italy and came to the United States in 1961 where he settled in Union City. Retired union bricklayer for the Local 4  after 50 years of dedication. Beloved husband of Emilia (nee Vessillo) for 62 years. Devoted father of Maria Lombardi and her husband Giovanni, Antonio Parrotta and his wife Kathleen, and Gino Parrotta. Cherished grandfather of Saverio, Giovanni, Vincent, Andrew, Daniel, and Joseph. Loving brother of the late Concettina Larosa, Mela Satira, and Santa Murdaca. The funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park on Wednesday, August 25th at 9:30AM. The funeral mass will be offered 10AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.             Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM.
