Carolyn M. (nee Leahy) Giunta, longtime resident of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the age of 73 years. Retired accountant for the Housing Authority of Bergen County in Hackensack and cashier for Van Saun Park in Paramus. Parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Vice President of the Ridgefield Park Woman’s Club. Devoted wife of the late Vincent Giunta who passed away in 2007. Beloved mother of Karen Pizzorusso and the late Chris Pecoraro who passed away in 2015. Loving grandmother of Christopher William Pecoraro and his wife Kathryn, Vincent Neely, and Kaitlyn Neely. Cherished sister of Theresa Conklin, Eileen Mohan, Patricia Mascenik, and the late Daniel Leahy, and Robert Leahy. The funeral mass will be offered 11AM on Friday, July 30th at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home. Entombment Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donation in Carolyn’s memory may be made to Ridgefield Park Woman's Club 95 Laurel Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ  07660 or St. Francis of Assisi Food Pantry 114 Mount Vernon Street, Ridgefield Park NJ 07660.
