I will always remember Joann’s fun attitude. When we would get together we knew we would be laughing and enjoying the day.
I am so happy we moved so close to Pat and her, the greatest memories will be the holidays, barbecues and just hanging out.
Miss you my friend, my partner in crime.
Love
Toni

I am sure everyone here will mention how much Joanne loved the holidays. She embraced them completely from head to toe. We spent New Year’s Eve together for many years. This year, in the photo, we went to Arcola for a great celebration with the kids. We all miss Joanne everyday but her absence is felt most strongly in the special holidays that she loved.

My best friend Joanne. I sure do miss her and all her energy. We had a lot of fun, she always made me laugh. Even though she suffered with cancer, she was always positive, she wasn't going to let this cancer ruin her life. She was a great member of our Thunderbird Club, organized a lot of fun events, 50's dance ((with help from Pat) , car cruises, etc. she put her heart in all she did. We went on Conventions to different Sates, we did a lot of touring and had best of times. Her Christmas parties lasted three days. She was known for her Chili. We always had a few drinks together and always had Baileys Irish Cream to end the night. She fought a hard battle, but finally lost the fight. Life has changed without her and all the times we were together. RIP Joanne❤️

I have many great memories of Joanne.
But the one that I’ll always remember is the last phone conversation we had. Joanne was in the hospital and no one could get her on the phone. We were all texting and calling my dad but he wasn’t able to answer everyone.
So I went ahead and called Joanne on Facebook messenger, her spirits were down but we had some good laughs because I got through to her when no one else could. We had never said it to each other before but when we were getting off the call she told me she loved me and I told her “I love you too, Joanne now get home soon.”
The call didn’t take very long but I’ll carry the memory of that conversation for the rest of my life.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Joanne?
A: One of our favorite things about Joanne was how much she loved every holiday! She was always dressed, head to toe, in the theme.
Joanne loved to have a great time!
We miss her all the time but it’s felt most when we don’t have her to celebrate the holidays with us!
Love always,
Danielle, Kian and Kianna

Joanne was my best friend and constant companion. She shared so many important moments both happy and sad. Our Christmas day parties and her chili were events our friends, relatives, and strangers made part of their annual Holiday celebrations. I will always love and miss her.

Joanne the most creative, fun and friendly person I have ever know. At the same time fighting cancer in so much pain and not showing it to her friends. To know someone like Joanne was a true gift, that so many lucky people were privledged to experenced.

Its so hard to say goodbye to the one we love-
even though we're told they're at peace up in heaven above!
We want them here, overwhelmed with grief because of how deeply we care-
though if we lean on our faith we know they're not gone or lost, God just moved them from here to there!
Dear Pat and Family A little poem for you, trying to find the right words to express how deeply sorry we are. We pray you and the family find relief knowing how many not only care -but- will be there if you need. Joanne was a very special woman we grew to love and respect. Joanne was brave, when cancer came knocking at her door, it had no idea the fight they were in for! Often we hear the phrase how one "lost the battle", oh no not this time, this was Gods decision, He needed an angel and took one from here on earth Life is not just about how we die but how we lived, Who knew buying a 1956 TBird would bring along the chance to meet Pat and Joanne, our lives were blessed having the pleasure and honor of knowing a special couple, a lovely lady. Joannes smile, her laughter, the joy she brought to our lives---she will be missed dearly.
Yes, Life goes on but never the same.
With Love and Sympathy, Rich and Georgette Iuso
