Dominick Sgro, of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, formerly of Hackensack, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Born in Bagnara Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Rosa Gramuglia and Vincenzo Sgro. Dominick immigrated to the United States and settled in Hackensack. United States Army veteran during the Korean War. Retired color matcher for Verflex in Carlstadt. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Heath) who passed away in 2016. Loving father of Peter Sgro. Devoted brother of Rose Sgro. Dominick is predeceased by one sister and two brothers. The funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Saturday, June 26th at 12:30PM. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10AM to 12PM. The funeral service will be at 12PM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
