I know this is late as I just discovered this obit. I was a caregiver for Steve in the 2009-10 timeframe and became quite close. He had a terrific sense of humor and liked to play pranks...he was a lot of fun. I provided him his coveted Marilyn Monroe wall calendar every year - even when he went to the care center (I have his new one sitting in my car while I have attempting to track him down). Steve was ever alert in the group home and saved it fire and flooding by alerting staff to mishaps. I will miss him tremendously. He used to love when I wore my "Sugar Daddy" t-shirt and would point to it indicating he considered me his Daddy. Steve, I pray you are running and jumping around in your new home in Heaven.
