Thank u Joe for posting this on Matt’s death anniversary. Miss him everyday. We were thinking we would have time to travel and vacation a bit after running the office for some thirty eight years. Life had a different future for him and for me. He gave some fifty years to real estate. Came into it at 22 ish after spending four years in the navy. Love to u Matt RIP

He had such a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. I remember when I was was little he took my sister and I to the Upper Saddle River Carnival in his Porche. He bought us all kinds of food and we went on all the rides. He was a wonderful Uncle I, by the way get car sick so after the food and rides I wasn’t feeling too good, but never told him. Another time we went to a Yankee game, my sister, my father and I. My father is driving and gets pulled over for speeding. My father never carried his drivers license with him. Uncle Matt tried to give my dad his license to cover him. My father wouldn’t take it though. He took the speeding ticket and no license ticket and we went on our way. What I also remember from that day was all the food. We barely set down and my dad and Uncle were like you want a hot dog? Next came peanuts, ice cream, etc... my sister and I just looked at each other and laugh about all the food. I have fond memories of my birthday were we went to eat in the city at a Spanish restaurant and after the second pitcher of a Champagne sangria, Uncle Matt was singing with the guitar player. We had a great time. Love him and he will be missed!
