Obituary of Chang Young Pak

Chang Young Pak of Ridgefield Park passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the age of 78 surrounded by his wife and son. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He immigrated from Korea to the United States as a young professional to pursue his career. He had owned and managed a number of successful businesses within the Washington, DC metropolitan area ranging from convenience stores to deli markets before moving to New Jersey with his family. He was a quiet but compassionate person, who gave his all to support his family and others around him. He was go-getter, who always had a plan and took care of business. He was a devout Christian and an active member of his local church. He believed in serving the Lord and putting Him first above all else. He was a loving husband to his wife, Sun Pak, whom he often referred to as a true “angel” sent by God; a proud father to his son, Moses, and daughter, Sarah; and a beloved grandfather to Elliot and Aaron. We take comfort in knowing that he is with the Lord and looking down on us from above. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, a private service will be held at a later time.
