Matullo, Maureen, Ann (nee O’Brien), of Ridgefield Park passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends at the age of 54, on March 23, 2016. Maureen graduated from Felician College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, then received a Masters Degree in Nursing Research from The George Washington University. For the past 5 years Maureen worked as a nurse manager at TKL Research in Fair Lawn. Previously Maureen worked for 26 years at Hackensack University Medical Center. She first worked as a staff nurse on Adult oncology and then pediatric oncology and was a charge nurse for several years before moving to their research department. She was a loyal parishioner to Saint Francis RC Church. Loving mother to her son Kyle. Dear sister to Eileen Esposito and her husband Louis and James O’Brien and his wife Stefanie. She was predeceased by her parents James Edward O’Brien and Ann Marie(nee Brady ) O’Brien. Maureen will be greatly missed by her Nieces and Nephews Jennifer, Joseph, Michael, and Ava. Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park Tuesday at 10am. Funeral Mass at Saint Francis RC Church 11am. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The Family will receive guests Monday from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated in Maureen’s memory to Villa Marie Claire Hospice, 718 Teaneck Rd, Teaneck NJ 07666 or The American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
