Eddie was a great friend and truly a great man. He will surely be missed not only by his family and friends but the whole village. Ed devoted thousands of hours to the safety of the village by being a member of hose 4 fire department. He also devoted many hours to the Elks Club . Speaking for myself I have many fond memories of him. I’m going to miss him greatly. It was a privilege being a friend of his. May the Lord welcome you with open arms .61LB4
We first met Ed in 1976 when we moved into our 1st home. Ed was welcoming and helpful 43 years ago. He and Joan are loved and admired by us and our family. We have been friends throughout the years. He was a great man who showed kindness, love and a sense of humor. Ed you will be missed by so many people. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you and all who love you.
I was so sorry to hear of Mr Wahl’s passing. Surely he and my dad are having a drink, commiserating and laughing. May memories be a comfort at this time.
Another good man has left, only to join his friend Jimmy. Now they can sit together like in the firehouse, have a beer and discuss fire department problems. Heaven won't be the same
