Tony was a big guy with a huge heart.
We came from an era when city kids played in the streets, play grounds or empty lots. I met Tony in my early teens and we remained lifelong friends. Tony and his family were hard not to like. I spent a lot of time with them, at his house, usually fixing cars; a passion we both shared.
He was always fun to be with. We laughed, cried and got in trouble together but never hurt a soul and I harbor many happy memories.
As time went by and we moved on to better things Tony met his beloved Virginia, settled down and a beautiful family was the result.
