Always a kind word to everybody he met. Treated everyone with the same amount of respect. If we can live life to the fullest with a loving family than we are truly fortunate.
To the family of Mr. Lutz:
One day several years ago, I saw Mr. Lutz at work in his garden. Having for some time admired that wonderful garden, I walked in to the yard to speak to him in praise of his efforts.
When I told him that my father was George Damiano, longtime shoemaker at Brinkerhoff and Euclid, he happily told me that he and dad had been friends, that he had helped dad with his machinery. We spoke about my father then.
Except for seeing him on Village Gardener planting days, I never spoke to him again.
May God bless him, surely one of "The Greatest Generation."

Auntie, Rick, Jane Mary, Peggy, Alison and "not so little" Rick, my thoughts are of you all. I am sorry for the family's loss.
To me, "Uncle" will forever remain, one of the best examples, of one who was filled with and shared, kindness, love of family and his "Sage" like wisdom.
