I am shocked and saddened to read the news about the loss of Amy. Amy and I worked many years together at the JCC in Tenafly. Amy was a bright, selfless caring person. Children were drawn to her warm and fun loving nature. Amy and her family took me in on many holidays when and I did not have family around. She will always been an angel in my eyes. Aunt Jayne I hope that knowing Amy will always look out for you and protect you will give you strength. Katie Brach

It's been just over two months since I lost the sweetest, most compassionate niece anyone had the privilege to know. Since you were a little girl you thought of others before yourself. You grew into a warm and loving person and you were so smart You loved your days at RPHS + Princeton. I keep finding so many things around me that you loved....your flowers in the rock garden this spring, anything with a penguin on it ,all your clothes + shoes.....you loved to shop. Not just for yourself, I found bags of gifts ready for the next birthday or holiday. You even had presents ready for Karen and Joe"s new baby. My dearest Amy , I miss you so and I'll love you always.....love Aunt Jane

I could not imagine the past 6 years of our lives without having Amy as a part of our family - sometimes I am not sure if she was the second mom, or I was the second Amy - I am sure a bit of both. A woman with a heart of gold for each of her kids - giving toughness when it was needed, an ear to listen and always a kiss and hug for them when they needed it most. We are so broken that you will not be with us for the next chapter of our lives, but know that you are at peace with your mother and family. The boys are blessed to have a loving angel watching over them each day. We will all miss you beyond belief, We love you.

For the first few years of their lives we were lucky enough to have Amy watching our boys. Even when the working mommy guilt was nagging at me, I never had to question that they would be fine since Amy loved them as much as I did. She helped to make them into the young men they are today and I am thankful for her influence. I am also proud that every time she came to visit, which was often, my boys hugged her tight and told her they loved her. While I wish they had a chance to tell her again, I hope they find comfort in knowing Amy knew how much she meant to them and she will be their angel forever. Rest In Peace Amy - thank you for being my backup for so many years! I loved you too! - Sharon Scalia

Amy was the first true friend I made in this world. We grew up together. I lived on Euclid Ave. and my Dad was the pastor at the First Baptist Church. Amy would come by on Sunday mornings and go to Sunday School with my Mom and I. My sister would take me in my stroller and her friend, one of Amy’s babysitter’s would take Amy, and they would walk us in our strollers to the park. We were in Brownies and Girl Scouts together and we went through K-6th at Grant School. I spent so many nights sleeping over at her house growing up. When I moved to Kansas in 1982, we stayed in touch every few decades until the advent of Facebook. It was great to connect again and more often. She loved cats, Target, the Yankees and she had an addiction to buying wrapping paper. She was one of the sweetest and kindest souls you ever met. She will be missed. Rest In Peace Amy. Love you.

Amy was my very first friend when I moved to RP in 4th grade. We spent so much time together having weekly sleepovers and listening to Duran Duran. I remember well her love of England and the royal family back in grade school and how she loved her kitty cats. We walked to school together daily and had our flute lessons together. Amy was incredibly smart and so kind. I’m so sad that she’s no longer in our world. My condolences to the family.

I remember Amy as a brilliant yet humble student. She navigated her adolescence gracefully, surrounded by wonderful friends and an English teacher who loved her.
