Joan Barbara Stauble, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born in Newark, New Jersey to Joseph and Helen Malinoski. She attended schools in Irvington, New Jersey and after graduating Irvington High School worked at Prudential and Bell Telephone Companies. Joan enjoyed sharing stories of her life as a young lady including an ocean cruise with her Mom to Europe in 1955 and dancing with her friends at the local Polish Clubs. She was even met her future husband while out at a dance. On Nov 28, 1959, she married George Stauble at Sacred Heart Church in Irvington. They were blessed with three children, Patricia, Steven and Joseph. Joan was a devoted wife and mother to her family and provided a loving home for them throughout the years. Joan enjoyed spending time in her garden and loved keeping her yard full of color each season. Her talents even won her an award from a local garden show. She had a great sense of style and will be remembered for her love of interior design, beautiful blond hair and fashion sense. She loved long walks, especially with her beloved dog Teddy by her side. Most of all, she loved her trips to the Atlantic City casinos with her husband George, where she would often win on her favorite slot machines. When not at the slots, they enjoyed many years wintering in Florida together with their friends and family. Joan is survived by her devoted husband George, their children Patricia, Steven and Joseph, grandchildren Elizabeth, Casey, Gregory and Kylie and great grandchildren Avery and Madison Joan. They were all blessed to have her in their lives as she always made each of them feel special and truly loved. Her kindness, tenderness and love will always be remembered. The funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Monday, April 8th at 9AM. The Funeral Mass will be 10 AM at St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church, Little Ferry with interment following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 - 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's memory to Alzheimer’s New Jersey Headquarters Office 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, #203 Roseland, NJ 07068.
