Uncle Charlie was a man of few words. He was a loving son who cared for his mother until the end of her life. He never called my mom by her name, she was always “sister.” He never went to Atlantic City without bringing us back salt water taffy, and he loved the waves as much as I did. Sometimes after dinner he would say he was going down to the beer garden to meet friends, I could never figure out what garden grew beer instead of flowers. Rest In Peace Uncle Charlie❤️

I will never forget Charlie. What a sweet man. Kind and soft spoken with a warm heart. I will miss him, as will my grand daughter, Jasmine, who recalls spending time with him while he babysat as she was visiting North Carolina from New Jersey. May you rest in sweet peace, Charlie. You will be forever in my heart.

Remembering all those summers many years ago with my mom and dad in Atlantic City; meeting you, Katie, RIck and Jami and staying at the namesake Stanley Hotel and the fun at the beach. Glad to have the chance to talk the last few weeks. My sympathies to Jami and Rick. Say hello to Mom ("sister") for me. Love, "baby Eileen"
