Obituary of Joseph D. Stauffer, Jr.

Stauffer, Jr. Joseph D. age 87 passed away on December 10, 2018 he was a longtime resident of Ridgefield Park, currently of Secaucus. He retired as a  Jersey City Fireman with 25 years of service.  Joseph was a coach and member of the Ridgefield Park Baseball Organization, Little Ferry Boys Club and a member of the Jersey City Fireman’s Relief Assoc. and was the State Secretary for the Fireman’s Relief Assoc. and a member of the Bergen County Hall of Fame.  Beloved husband to the Florence (nee Maher). Devoted father to Joseph J. Stauffer and his wife Alyse.  Loving grandfather to Bradley and his wife Cortney, Dylan and Michael.  Dear brother to the late Thomas and Robert Stauffer.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.  Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Monday at 9:30am.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church, Ridgefield Park at 10am. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Visitation SATURDAY 2-6PM.  If desired donations may be made to:  St. Jude Children’s Hospital  501 St. Jude Pl.
