Dear Terri and the entire Powers Family. So sorry to hear about the loss of Billy. I knew Billy from my years working at Biocraft and Teva. I ran the Elmwood Park and Fairfield plants for a number of years, and had pretty extensive exposure to Billy during that time. While I did not know Billy during my early years, I grew up in Fairview, and attended high school with several family members. Billy was a hard working and wonderful person. My deepest condolences to the entire Powers family. .

In our life of 73 years we have made hundreds of friends. We made friends as youngsters in our neighborhoods. We made friends in school. We made lots of friends later in jobs and in business and civic activities.
One thing we have learned, at this stage of life, is that friends, even close ones, come and go but after all these years we can count no more than on our fingers all our truly great friends. And when we do that, Billy Powers is certainly high among that exclusive group.
Billy was as thoughtful, honest and helpful a person as we have ever known. Whenever we needed help he made time and was there with his tremendous skills, knowledge and work ethic. If Billy said he would do something you could count on it. He did things that changed our lives for the better.
As greatly saddened as we are by his passing we cannot begin to understand the difficulty his loving family is experiencing. They are in our prayers.
We are comforted knowing that such a man now goes with The Lord.
We pray he rests in peace and we all meet up again.

It is with the heaviest heart I offer my condolences to Billys family and my dear friend Teri. As I have told you Teri many times before the love you and Billy shared was an inspiration to so many. I know right now there are no words that will mend your heart. Death leaves heartache and pain noone can heal but the memories of the love and life you shared noone can steal. I love you my friend!
