Obituary of Hildegarde Persich

Persich,  Hildegarde (nee Reis) age 97, resident of Ridgefield Park for eighty-four years (most recently of Allendale) passed away peacefully on May 4, 2018.  Hildegarde was born in Austria and came to the United States in 1922.  She was a talented artist, seamstress, hairdresser, gardener and bridge player, always involving herself in various volunteer activities.

She was a lifelong Parishioner of Saint Francis Church where she also married her Beloved late husband of 71 years, Andrew Persich. Devoted mother to Andrea Loftus and her husband Albert and Donna Antonini and her husband Peter. Cherished grandmother to Michael, Casey, Heather and her husband Sean, and Douglas, great grandmother to Cass Jerome.  Hildegarde is predeceased by her brothers Henry and Ernest Reis. Hilda's was a life well lived and well loved. Funeral from the Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, Wednesday 10:30am. Mass 11:00am at Saint Francis RC Church in Ridgefield Park. Interment  will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation Wednesday 9-10:30 am.
