Please accept my deepest condolences. The following words have helped many to cope with the loss of someone special. 1 Corinthians 1: 3, 4 states "Praise be the God and Father or our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials..."
Our Father, Jehovah God, will help your family and friends cope with such a difficult loss. In 1 Corinthians 15:26 he promises us that "the last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing." I hope the family and friends can find some comfort in this promise.

My deapest regrets that I can not be with you at this most difficult of moments to say goodbye to Ray who was always my best and most treasured friend. Ray was the big brother I never had. He was my mentor, my confidant, my motivator, my source for real values, and my compass for me as a boy and my whole life as a man. No one ever meant more to me than Ray. The only one who loved him as I did was Gloria who played such a huge place in his heart and life. The care and love she gave him all of his life but especially in those difficult years at the end were incredible. Many friends knew him to have been a tough wonderful friend, fun to be around and in some ways a real sentimental pussy cat. My own memory is full of the lessons he taught me, the laughter we shared and or love for each other. I will miss him terribly.
David aka Sunny--- the name he called me all my younger days.

Ray was a WWII veteran and held as POW in a German war camp for a year and a half of his very young age. He was tortured and made to live in horrendous conditions. But he survived and came home and eventually lived a long happy life with my mom. They were together 50 years. He lived to be 94. RIP Ray you’ll be missed.
