Minero, Lena (nee Torre), of Ridgefield Park entered into eternal life on January 8, 2017, at the age of 96. Lena was a parishioner of Saint Francis RC Church and a member of the Ridgefield Park Seniors. Lena was born and raised in Manhattan. After graduating high school progressed in her career as a New York Civil Servant spanning from World War II, through the early years of her marriage; until the birth of her first child. She has been a New Jersey resident since her marriage in 1951, long time resident of both Fairview and Ridgefield Park. Lena was predeceased by her beloved husband Livio Minero. She is survived by her loving children Donna Carey and her husband Michael, Charles Minero and his wife Terrie, and Richard Minero and his wife Tracey. Cherished grandmother to Laura, Christine, Nicholas, Michael, David and great grandmother to Benjamin. Lena was predeceased by her siblings Mary Rose Nocchi and Joseph A. Torre. Visitation Tuesday 3-7pm Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home 59 Main Street Ridgefield Park NJ. Funeral Mass to be offered at Saint Francis RC Church, Ridgefield Park, Wednesday 9:30am. Entombment Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lena to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
