Obituary of Alan Patrick O'Grady

O’Grady, Alan, Patrick age 42, of New York City, formerly Ridgefield Park passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Alan spent his childhood in Ridgefield Park NJ. where he graduated Ridgefield Park High School Class of 1992 and was president of the student body. He attended Rutgers University and was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. Alan moved to New York City and enjoyed all the City had to offer. He loved dancing and socializing with friends. He was a professional server for over 20 years and worked at many of New York’s most famous and trendiest restaurants. He had a true zest for life. Beloved son to Alan and Patricia (nee Di Archangel) O’Grady, loving brother to Danielle Impreveduto and her husband Rocco and Michael O’Grady and his wife Erika. Dear uncle to Rocco, Daniel, and Matthew. Devoted nephew to John O’Grady and his wife Tara, Daniel DiArchangel and his wife Deborah, Michael DiArchangel and his wife Linda and Catherine Champon. Alan will be greatly missed by his cousins Alysa, T.J., Daniel, John, Brian, Connor, Michael, Brandon, and his special partner in crime and confidant Stacy. Funeral Service will be at Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home 59 Main Street Ridgefield Park on Thursday at 10:30am. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
