Obituary of Anne M McKeown

Anne M. McKeown (nee Fleishbein), 75, of Ridgefield Park (formerly of Ridgefield), passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 17, 2024.  She was the beloved wife to the late James McKeown.  Anne was the adored mother to James and his wife Kelli, Margaret DeWitt, Sean and his wife Kristen, and Liam and his wife Kristy.  The greatest joy in her life were her cherished grandchildren Jimmy, Brian, Aiden, Dylan, and Shane.   She is predeceased by her endeared sister Mary Fleishbein.  Anne was born in Englewood, NJ to the late Margaret (nee Gallagher) and the late John Fleishbein).  She worked at Holy Name Hospital as a Cost Analyst for many years before her retirement.  Anne was very active in her community she was a proud founding member of the Ridgefield Park Soccer Association, a faithful parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, and a member of the St. Anne’s Choir.  Anne loved to laugh and was always there to help a friend in need.  Family was everything to her especially being a devoted mother.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20^th beginning at 4 PM and concluding at 8 PM.  Funeral Mass Thursday, March 21^st, 9:30 AM at Church of St. Anne, Fair Lawn, Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.  In lieu of flowers please make remembrances in Anne’s name to the National MS Society.  Nationalmssociety.org
