Obituary of Christopher F Lee

Christopher F. Lee, age 93, of Little Ferry, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. He was born at home in Jersey City, NJ.

 

Beloved husband of the late Joan Lee. He was predeceased by his brother George, sister Catherine, and daughter Donna. He is survived by his children Laurene, Christopher, and Colleen; and by his cherished grandchildren.

 

Chris was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War aboard the USS Salisbury Sound. He worked for many years as truck driver for American Can Company and for Pilot Freight Carriers.

 

He was an active member of the veterans’ community, serving as commander of V.F.W. Post 809 in Little Ferry and Post 3484 in Saddle Brook. He was also a member of American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park and a charter member of the USS Salisbury Sound Association.

 

Chris was a devoted parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona Parish for over 60 years.

 

A private service will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
