Obituary of Ronald T Lauer

Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ronald T. Lauer, age 92, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 24, 2025.  Born in the Bronx, NY to Sayer (nee McKessey) and Harry Curtis, Ronald’s journey through life was nothing short of extraordinary.  A proud veteran who served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, he exemplified bravery and dedication.  Ronald was the beloved husband of 55 years to the late Eleanor P. (nee Walsh) Lauer, a devoted father to Michael Lauer and his wife Margaret, Karen Boggie and her husband Thomas, and Robert Lauer and his wife Laura, and a guiding light to his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his endeared brothers and sisters.  His legacy extended far beyond his family; as the proud owner of R.T. Lauer Plumbing and Heating, he touched countless lives with his craftsmanship.  An esteemed Boy Scout Leader and Little League Coach, Ronald inspired and nurtured the youth of his community, always encouraging them to reach for the stars.  A passionate Golfer, he found joy in every swing and every moment spent with loved ones.  Ronald T. Lauer was the embodiment of kindness, integrity, and love.  His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
