Obituary of Bill Coyle
On Monday, March 17th 2025, the good Saint Patrick, guided William “Bill” Coyle to the greener pastures of heaven. Bill was the true definition of the Meek and Kind.
In his life Bill struggled with many things. He toiled with clerical jobs, including being a bank teller, but never quite found a career, which lead to many hardships as he aged. He also had no family to offer support especially battling cancer to the end. Yet had the support of the caring, Organizations, and people of the wonderful village of Ridgefield Park. He showed his gratitude with a friendly smile to all who crossed his path in town.
He was also an Officer of the Knights of Columbus for over 25 years, as such was an active participant in many of their charitable events. From Walk-a-Thons and Food Drives to preparing fruit baskets and delivering turkeys to those in need around the holidays, the Special Citizens drive and more. He was also a dedicated parishioner of Saint Francis of Assisi Church and helped on the Church Calendar for years.
He was grateful to all many the people and organizations that helped him through his journey and will be missed by all.
A Funeral Mass in Bill's honor will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, beginning at 10 A.M. at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park.
